*Services are not confirmed until a deposit is received. A $25 cancellation fee will be assessed for all cancellations. A $75 cancellation fee will be assessed for all cancellations which include a moving truck. All other money is refunded in full. We do not move open boxes or containers. We can only guarantee the time requested in your reservation. Please book as much time as you think you will need for your move. If your move exceeds the hours booked, you will be billed an additional $185 per hour for overages if scheduling permits such overages. A deposit is collected at the time of booking. The remaining balance of your move will be due immediately upon completion of the job.

Before I Move
Q. Will 3M Movers LLC bring a truck to move my things?
3M Movers can supply a moving truck or van for an additional fee. Truck rental in included in the cost of any U-Box move.
Q. Does 3M Movers provide supplies?
3M movers will include the following supplies with your basic move: hand trucks and lifting straps. We do not provide moving blankets, plastic wrapping, moving pads, or packing supplies of any kind. Please visit your local moving or storage facility to purchase these items or add these services to your move through the web store. We provide all cleaning supplies necessary for any cleaning job.
Q. My building requires a certificate of insurance. Can you provide this?
3M Movers does not provide a certificate of insurance.
Q. I need to change or cancel my reservation. What do I do?
Please call or text (443)764-5518 as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule. There is no fee to reschedule your move. If 24 hours notice is not provided for a cancellation, you are assessed a $25 cancellation fee. All other funds will be refunded to your original form of payment.
Q. Can you move collectibles or high-valued goods?
We do not complete moves for large collections of high-valued items such as jewelry, expensive art work, or memorabilia. We recommend contacting a specialty provider for this type of service.
Q. What happens in the event of bad weather?
3M Movers will complete the job, rain or shine. If we are expecting rain, we ask that you obtain plastic covers for unboxed items like mattresses or sofas to protect your furniture during the move. In cases of extreme weather, we will contact you to reschedule.
Q. How many movers will you bring?
We will assign a minimum of two crew members to your move, depending upon the size of the job. Larger jobs will have additional crew members to ensure that the job is completed in a timely fashion.
Q. Will you move me on a holiday?
3M Movers is happy to make sure that our customer's needs are met. For an additional fee, we will complete moves on federally recognized holidays.
Q. What methods of payment do you accept?
You can book basic packing, loading, or cleaning services directly on our website with a major credit card or PayPal account. On location, we can accept cash, credit or debit cards, or PayPal for any add-on services or overages. We are happy to provide a receipt for any paid services. For invoices, please email us at email@example.com. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any checks, however, PayPal does allow you to link a checking account for direct payment to a merchant.
Q. What is your relationship with U-Haul?
3M Movers LLC is an authorized Moving Helper by U-Haul and accepts jobs on their website movinghelp.com. We are not employed by or owned by U-Haul. If you used Moving Help to book your move, we cannot assist with technical support issues. Please contact Moving Help directly.
During My Move
Q. What if I run out of time?
We recommend booking as many hours are required to complete your job in full. If you are not sure how many hours your job will take, please contact us. If you require more hours than you've booked, we are still happy to complete the job if no other jobs are booked immediately after. The overage rate is the same as our standard rate. Any overages can be paid on site. In the event that another job is booked immediately after, we can find another time to complete your job at your convenience. Payment for the time you have booked will still be due at the end of your scheduled time slot.
Q. I need to make multiple stops. How can I arrange this?
If your move consists of multiple stops to load or unload your things, additional travel fees may apply. These fees can be paid on site.
Q. Is disassembly/reassembly included?
We realize that disassembly is sometimes necessary for easy transit of your possessions. This service is available for an additional fee. Please also make sure that you have booked enough time for disassembly and reassembly in your move.
Q. Why won't you move my really heavy stuff? Are there things you can't move?
Furniture exceeding 400 pounds may require special equipment and additional crew members. If you have really heavy furniture, such as a piano, we generally recommend hiring a specialist. Please note that we are not able to move open boxes, bags, or containers. All containers must be sealed for us to move. If you need us to help with packaging or sealing your things, these services can be added on, time permitting.
Q. I need to add on some additional services at the last minute. Can I do this?
During your move, additional services can be added as long as the schedule permits. Our crew members can accept payment on site or you can submit payment through PayPal or our website.
Q. Where is the owner/manager?
While Michael does try to make it to most jobs in person, on certain high-demand days he may not be there. Please visit the Contact Us page to reach out to him for any of your concerns.
Q. Am I allowed to tip?
We love tips! Gratuity is not added to any of the prices posted on our website and is not added to your order during checkout. If you'd like to tip your crew members, you are welcome to do so, but this is not required.
After My Move
Q. Something was damaged. How do I resolve this?
While we do our best to ensure that you move is damage-free, mistakes do happen. Please send photos of any damages and photos of the complete item along with copies of your original purchase receipts to firstname.lastname@example.org along with your contact information and someone will be in touch with you.
Q. I need my old place cleaned up. Can you help?
3M Movers LLC offers cleaning services to our customers to help you have a worry-free move. Please use the online scheduling tool or call us to book cleaning services. These cleaning services would not include carpet cleaning. Trash removal would include taking trash to on site refuse containers only unless bulk trash removal is requested.
